What is an NLP coach?

An NLP coach combines the overview of a life coach, who will support you in getting from where you are to where you want to be, with the change work of an NLP practitioner.

They will look at how you do what you do - helpful and not so helpful - to enable you develop new thought patterns and excellence in any area of your life.

They will work with your senses to envision your future self and what it will be like when you achieve what you want.

When we envision ourselves doing it, seeing and feeling it, if it is aligned with what is important to us, we will have the motivation to do it.

How does it work?

Using models, techniques, and strategies we start to understand how much our unconscious patterns affect our lives. By bringing these patterns into our conscious mind we can start to create new, more resourceful patterns and strategies.  We also look at how the language we use influences the way we think and the results we get.

How many sessions will I need?

This will depend on your individual needs and will become clear after the initial session.

 You may find yourself:

  • Temporarily stuck and just need a refocus/kickstart

  • Unhappy with your current situation and need space to consider all available options

  • Wanting something different but not sure what that is…

Once we start to unpack, what’s important to you and anything that might be holding you back we can start to align what you want with what is important to you.

After your first session you will have a good idea of how I work, and we can take it from there, but I would initially recommend 4-6 sessions over a 6-8 week period.


What might I experience in the sessions

  • Establish your core values – these are generalisations about experiences that are important to you.

  • Start to let go of the stories or Limiting Beliefs you have been telling yourself which can hold you back

  • Become aware of how your language affects how you feel and behave.

  • Change the way you feel about some events in your life

  • Visualise the future you want for yourself

  • See things from different perspectives and learn how to better control your inner state.
